Big Brothers ultimate intentions are to eliminate all of the words in Newspeak so that they may have a full vocabulary of only one word.

What would the government want with mindless zombies? How does it benefit them?

The Party of Oceania vaporize the people who act "alive" in other words, those who are intelligent and who have potential to become critical of the government. They lean more towards the citizens who are "dead" and who are easy to manipulate, brainwash, etc.

The people who are considered the "best party members" have no idea what is going in in their day-to-day lives.

It is better to be dumb and oblibvious, than to be smart and know what is going on in your government. The traits we admire today could have gotten u killed in the book 1984

Fear is a dangerous emotion, which has the ability to modify the actions and even thoughts of an individual.

Tragedy only existed in the world in which privacy, love, and friendship existed among family members without them needing to know the reason.

This relates to the novel 1984 by George Orwell because it is about a man, Winston Smith, who is under the control of Big Brother but is slowly breaking out on his owna and realizing what is going on in the world.

[The government's methods of controlling the people are too extreme] underneath the lustful idea of power and control, Big Brother and the Party are afraid of what might happen to them, just like everyone else.
