We all know that Italy doesnt deserve bashing since they won the world cup, so if you want to talk about soccer, talk about it here, with me, a real soccer player.

ok about real soccer eh.....coming from another soccer player I think the US team has its strengths and weaknesses, mainly weaknesses mind you. They did poorly in the Word Cup and I was in Italy to see their game against Italy and the people were ecstatic. I just think that the MLS needs to revamp their system and play with teams from out of the country. You can only be as good as the best team you play. The MLS doesn't have very good teams so the US team can't be good in turn. Maybe make a league with Mexico?

Yeah Robbie I love this topic. I am excited for our RHSM soccer season to start. Roadagent Real salt lake is said to play Real Madrid every year. USA soccer is a growing sport it is only a matter of time before we catch up to everybody else

Well yeah I will just be happy when the refs call fair calls. not like two world cups ago US vs. Germany

try Italy Vs. Korea that game was terrible Tottee (sp?) gets fouled in the box, and it gets called a flop for his second yellow and he gets ejected. The ref was suspended for about 100 matches b/c of he let the game run 15 minutes to long (in extra time) giving korea the chance to score. Also the line ref made a terrible off side call on a goal that would have given italy the lead in overtime. I watched that game right before i left for italy. it was all over the newspapers SCANDOLO.

ok I believe the score was Germany-1 US-1. Donovan gets fouled just outside of the box and gets a direct kick. He takes it. The German defender blatently and visibly sticks out his arm to block the ball that would of allowed the US to win. The ref ruled "The ball played the hand when he was about 15-20 feet from the defender.
