Commentary from Observations of the Activity:
* One group could not come to consensus. They turned away 3 extra people because of inner-group quibbling.
*Dr. and Mrs Dane's son Bobby is not permitted to survive largely because as many put it "he is a retard."
*Mary Jones is turned away mostly because she is a child who many perceive won't be able to pull her weight.
*The only person with military experience is rejected because folks worry about his temper and his smoking habit.
*John Jacobs is turned away largely because he only has one arm and has been arrested for shoplifting.
*Mrs. Bluehawk, the prostitute runaway, is taken in because she could help repopulate and is generally a survivor.
*Mr. Blake the Mormon is turned away primarily because of his apparant temper. No one cites his Mormonism as a reason to turn him away.
*Mrs. Jones almost makes it in. Many cite the fact that she is a history teacher as a reason to take her feeling it's important to keep our history alive even if the people are mostly killed. Those who reject her, reject her so she can die with her daughter who has been largely rejected.
